A Noir Walk in San Francisco

San Francisco has always held a special place in my heart, second only to New York, making it a favorite city to explore on foot. Recently, I embarked on a monochromatic photographic journey from Embarcadero to Ghirardelli, tracing the bays of SF piers with my Leica M11 and APO 35mm lens borrowed from a friend for this project.

Beneath the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, where fog weaves an air of mystery, lies a narrative waiting to unfold – a Noir Walk through the Bay Area's piers. This venture goes beyond a mere stroll; it delves into the shadows of a city harboring secrets in every whisper of the wind and every creak of the old wooden planks underfoot.
